Formatting Guidelines

Papers must not exceed 7 pages including all references, figures, tables, and appendices. Only ONE extra page can be purchased for an extra $50. Papers must be proofread to prevent typographical errors and language mistakes in grammar, style, and spelling. Papers must be submitted as a trouble-free high-resolution PDF.

INFOS 2018 reviewing process is double-blind. Please make sure that the submission does not disclose the authors’ identities or affiliation in anyway. We recommend replacing authors’ names and affiliations with the tracking number of the submission. Authors are requested to ensure that any references to their own previous work are made in a way that does not disclose their identity. For example, instead of "in previous work, we have shown X [ref]" authors are asked to consider expressions such as "X was shown in [ref]". Authors are also asked to ensure that the PDF file submitted does not contain embedded identifying information. Also, please make sure any acknowledgments or references to things like project/group names or webpages do not give away the authors' identity. Identifying information can be added at the authors' discretion in the final camera-ready version of the paper.

We encourage authors to obtain ethical approval for experiments with human subjects from their corresponding institutions' Internal Review Board and demonstrate this information as part of the submission.

INFOS 2018 will not accept any paper that, at the time of submission, is under review for or has already been published or accepted for publication in a journal or another conference. Authors are also required not to submit their papers elsewhere during INFOS 2018's review period. Authors will be required to confirm that their submissions conform to these requirements at the time of submission. Submitted papers must comply with the following double submission and plagiarism and self-plagiarism policies.

To ensure all submissions are treated fairly and equally, authors are asked to follow all the instructions above. Submitted papers might be rejected without reviewing if they do not adhere to all the above requirements.

Evaluation

All relevant papers will be double-blindly peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers from INFOS 2018 international program committee of the selected track before acceptance for publication in the proceedings. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality, relevance, significance of the contribution, quality of presentation, and appropriate comparisons to related existing work. Submitted papers and all their underlying research must comply with the professional standards of the discipline.

Submitting for Review

Papers must be submitted through the EDAS (http://edas.info/24601) submission system by the stated deadline. The deadline is firm and not negotiable. We cannot accept submissions by e-mail or fax. Authors will receive confirmation of receipt of their abstracts or papers, including an ID number, shortly after submission. We will contact authors again only if problems are encountered with papers.

To avoid last minutes network problems, authors are strongly encouraged to create their EDAS submission system user accounts (if you don’t already have one) and register their submission (the paper’s author(s), title and abstract) well in advance of the deadline.

Camera-Ready Instructions

  2. Include author names and other identifying information that was excluded from your original submission.
  3. Double-check the paper number of pages.
  4. Check the paper and references for typos and capitalization errors (e.g., "bayesian" should be "Bayesian")

Late camera-ready submissions may not be included in the final conference proceedings.
